The 15U Blue team started their day at the Provincial Cup in Georgetown  with two solid wins against the Tornadoes (25-12, 25-16). 

Their momentum continued as they beat the Predators Black team in Match 2 (25-19, 25-22).  A win against the Selects Blue team in Match 3 (25-10, 25-14) saw the girls heading to the semi finals to face off against MAC.

MAC, a solid team consistently competitive against the Hurricanes, proved unable to break the growing spirit and determination of these 12 girls.  The win against MAC (25-15, 25-22) saw the Hurricanes heading to the finals to fight for the gold.

Up against the Stratford Stingers and determined to continue their winning streak the Hurricanes remained focused.  The girls on the bench and those that took to the court remained firm and unwavering in their goal to win this final match.  At one point or another during the course of this tournament all 12 team members played a role in getting this team to where it was. They could not let each other down. 

It took a total team effort to win the first set 25-23 and the team continued to push hard to win the second set 25-18 and capture the gold! Congratulations team on a terrific start to the OVA season.
