The 15U Black team was "in the pink" at the 4th annual "Diggin' for the Cure" 15U/ 16U volleyball tournament held on April 11th. The tournament was hosted by the Halton Women's Volleyball League in support of Breast Cancer research.
Our Hurricanes 15U Black team played right into the championship game versus the Scarborough Titans. The final was a capped game to 27 points and after a close battle, the Titans narrowly came out ahead 27-26.
It was all for a very worthwhile cause - with players on all teams working together to raise $1750 in the battle to fight breast cancer research.
